SCP 44" x 26" Mixed Media

Made from a photograph taken in Shirley Chisholm Park in Brooklyn, N.Y., this piece brings paint and embroidery together in a wild scene of grasses and seedpods with shades of grey, brown, mauve, light blue, orange and gold. SCP is a series. Each art work is signed and numbered. No two pieces are exactly alike. The art is stretched on a wood frame, stapled in the back, and wired for hanging.
